Metrocrest Chamber Unveils New Name and Brand Identity as Metrocrest Area Chamber
New name reflects regional unity, economic growth, and a forward-looking vision for Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch

Farmers Branch, TXThe Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce today announced the launch of its new name and brand identity, officially becoming the Metrocrest Area Chamber. This rebrand marks an important step in aligning the Chamber with the continued growth, innovation, and regional collaboration that define the Metrocrest communities of Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch.

The new identity includes a refreshed name, modern logo, updated color palette, and a clean visual style designed to reflect the Chamber’s expanding role in supporting businesses and connecting the region.

“This rebrand captures who we are today and where we are headed,” said Michael Gallops, President and CEO of the Metrocrest Area Chamber. “Our new identity represents a united region that is stronger together and focused on innovation, collaboration, and opportunity for every business we serve.”

The Chamber’s history with the name Metrocrest dates back more than four decades. In the early 1980s, area business leaders invested significant time and resources into creating a shared identity for Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Farmers Branch. The name Metrocrest was introduced with music, celebration, and a strong sense of regional pride, and soon appeared in newspapers, street names, and community conversations.

That legacy continues today as the Chamber strengthens its commitment to a unified regional vision.

The Metrocrest Area Chamber’s rebrand emphasizes three key ideas:
  • Unity: Representing the shared economic ecosystem of the region.
  • Innovation: Reflecting the Chamber’s work to support startups, workforce development, and business growth.
  • Connection: Strengthening relationships between business, government, and community partners throughout the region.

“The Metrocrest region continues to grow in influence and economic impact,” said Baharak Sotoudeh, Chair of the Metrocrest Area Chamber Board of Directors. “This rebrand aligns our identity with that progress and our vision for the future.”

The Chamber worked closely with local leaders and branding professionals to ensure the new look and messaging reflects the region’s forward momentum while maintaining the integrity of its long history serving local business.

As part of the rollout, the Chamber will update its website and marketing materials under the Metrocrest Area Chamber name. The new logo features a modern design inspired by connection and growth, symbolizing the collaboration among the three cities that make up the Metrocrest region.

“Our members expect us to lead with relevance, purpose, and clarity,” Gallops said. “This brand allows us to tell our story in a way that honors our past and positions us for the future.”

The Chamber recognizes the creative talent behind the visual transformation and extends appreciation to George Kellas with Kellas Productions, whose work helped bring the brand to life.
