FIT is a non-profit school of fencing offering recreational through Olympic level training in foil, epee, sabre, Parafencing and Historical (Victorian) training. Our mission is to provide quality instruction in fencing and life skills that prepare our athletes to be effective contributors to their communities, schools and professional lives. Our graduates often go on to study at Ivy League and Division I tier schools using fencing as a means to help them standout in the admissions process.
FIT also provides Home School, after school and off-campus PE instruction to students 6 through adult. We follow the US Olympic and Paralympic (USPOC) recommendations on childhood development and adult instruction. A joint effort between the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the National Governing Bodies, the Athlete Development Model (ADM) focuses on long-term athlete development principles with the ultimate goal of creating positive experiences for American athletes at every level. Make fencing your lifelong sport!
